    New Bills are in.

There are a couple of great bills have been introduced in the Tennessee General Assembly. It's time to call and/or write your representatives and senators and encourage them to vote for, or even co-sponsor, these bills.

    SB 0780 / HB 0535 is a bill for constitutional carry. http://wapp.capitol.tn.gov/apps/Bill...=SB0780&ga=109

SB 0784 / HB0684 is a bill to allow for open carry without a permit. http://wapp.capitol.tn.gov/apps/Bill...=SB0784&ga=109

Not a bill, an AG Opinion.

Which is just that, an opinion, not a law or court ruling, but it does mean you'd more than likely be charged.

I find it interesting that the NRA lists the constitutional carry legislation as a "pro-gun" bill but does not include it in the list of bills they are specifically "supporting". They also don't even mention the open carry bill.
