Hal Heiner is a typical Jefferson Co. Republican. He was a member of the Metro Council and brought all the good stuff to Metro Louisville, such as hostility to gun ownership, unemployment, poverty, and crime.
Any candidate for Governor from Jefferson Co. is going to have an up hill battle to get elected. It is tough enough for a Democrat from Jefferson Co., but almost impossible for a Republican. A lot of De ms. will vote for a conservative Republican in Ky., but few will vote for one from Jefferson Co. Matt Bevin and Will T. Scott are both very gun friendly, conservative and strict constitutionalists. James Comer is a proven name statewide. As the field thins out, I would expect most of the support for the candidates that drop out will not move to help Heiner. His support will remain right where it is now, or less. It will just be divided between the others. Heiner is a Jeff. Co. RINO.
