Walmart gunfight leaves 1 dead, 8 injured

Walmart gunfight leaves 1 dead, 8 injured, 6 others arrested 3/26/15

An altercation at a Cottonwood, Arizona, Walmart Saturday night turned into a gunfight between seven suspects and eight police officers in the parking lot and ended with one fatality, two people being shot and six suspects — including at least one juvenile — behind bars.

Sounds like Gypsies(grifters) masquerading as a religious band.

Well, the opening sentence of that "article" leaves a bit to be desired. It says a gun-fight between seven suspects and eight cops. Yet, it sounds more like a gun-fight between maybe a couple family members and police. You can betcha that if all seven family members had guns and were shooting at police, the list of charges wouldn't be just for resisting arrest and assaulting a police officer.

That first sentence in the article places more shooters at the scene than the Clantons and Earps at the OK Corral! Imagine! A fire-fight between fifteen combatants in a WalMart parking lot.

I think there is more to the story.

I'll make you an offer: I will argue and fight for all of your rights, if you will do the same for me. That is the only way freedom can work. We have to respect all rights, all the time--and strive to win the rights of the other guy as much as for ourselves.

If I am equal to another, how can I legitimately govern him without his express individual consent?

There is no human being on earth I hate so much I would actually vote to inflict government upon him.

I'm sure you are right. What a bizarre story though lol. Even if no guns were involved at all it would be bizarre.
Even if you were going to live in a van down by the walmart, the women in the men's room and assaulting the employee is just bizarre.

I'll agree the report is bizarre. What actually happened might make a lot more sense.

Would have been better if they were in a Caravan. You know, for visiting the Town & Country?

I just hope they don't Escape! That could lead to a Trek, maybe to Denali, and they'll have to send an Envoy to recover them...

As long as they don't have an Aztek guide them, but they might want a Trooper along.

Based on the articles, I think they'd send an Armada after them.

I don't know. If the Navigator knows what they're doing, they might be able to avoid any Patrol that comes their way.

It wouldn't be so bad if they made the Trek in a Voyager. They might even get back before The Next Generation.

Maybe, but they'd have to go to Babylon 5 times just to get the right directions.

We've crossed the pun streams! If this Enterprise isn't quickly curtailed, we might all end up in Deep Space - Nein, we may even end up Lost In Space, on such a Farscape we can never return!

Gotta at least keep one pun anchored in cars, though. That's the Tempo of this thread. I can't Sienna-one being impressed without it.

I do agree that we must keep this a General Motors pun thread.

I think I'll go hang out with my Sidekick for a few.
