"King told police he had made a lot of money stealing cars but it just didn't seem worth it now that he was in the hospital.

"I'm always on alert, and now my fear is that it will take less time for me to defend myself than before," she said. For now, Davison-Adams said, she is taking things one day at a time. "I want to see him in jail," Davison-Adams said. "Whatever the minimum sentence is, I think that that's what he deserves."

Lovely Milwaukee. Glad to see the city taxpayers are coughing up $250 million for - not new bridges, not new business relocation tax breaks, not sales or property tax reductions, but 'their share of a new sports arena!

Bread and circuses, "panem et circenses" from Juvenal who used the phrase to decry the selfishness of common people and their neglect of wider concerns, in Book IV Satire 10.81

You click on the link for this article and there are teasers for additional news stories. The $250musd new 'events center' was one of them. Combine this with the threads on WI fairgrounds black-on-white violence, the CHL shooting of a local thug tried to rob a barber shop, and you've get a feel that all is not right in Milwaukee. So investing much more than any other project shows the towns' priorities.

Though living my life in Texas, I have been interested in Milwaukee since Polly Williams school voucher program in the late 80s. Also got to do some work in Appleton with WI Indian Tribes financing cellphone systems (recycling casino money into the non-Milwaukee portion of the state). Was enjoyable flying Midwest Express...
