Welcome to OCDO Vince - short answer is yes, mostly, except in Denver.

I think this might need a bit of clarification. Oftentimes, people outside of the Denver Metropolitan Area call the whole thing "Denver" and you actually have to live there to give a rat's hindquarters about fine distinctions like "Westminster" and "Littleton" and "Aurora." Not knowing whether, you, Vince, are among them, I'll clarify (especially since others will read this at some point).

Where you cannot open carry is: the actual City and County of Denver. The suburbs are fine though in some places you may get various levels of grief from the police. Now the trick is to know, if visiting or traveling around the area, where the boundary line is; it's not marked with a big broad sewage-brown stripe as it should be.

It would suit me right down to the ground if they'd put a twenty foot high wall around the boundary and then fill it with water.

What no double wall with giant sharks between the two?

There are many good people living in that area of oppression - we wish them freedom, but no further pain.

That might actually work. The City and County of Denver is flatter than Manhattan Island, ironically for being the capital of such a mountainous state.

I always tell people Denver is conveniently located only 20 minutes from Colorado.

This would allow for Sharknado 4 to happen in Denver.
