Anyone renewed their OR CPL with Grant County recently? How'd the process go?

I got mine from a Vancouver event Sheriff Palmer held 4 years ago and it expires next month so starting to get my ducks in a row for heading down and renewing in the near future.

I read they only do out of state renewals on Wednesdays so i'll probably go down on a Tuesday night and stay the night. Looking for any feedback from recent experiences..

Thanks!

A group of us ended up renewing in Umatilla County, it saved us 6+ hours of driving. I would recommend making a phone call to them to see if they need you to schedule an appointment, UC did so it delayed us a couple of weeks.

I was going to renew mine last year in Grant County, I called for an appointment in June and was told the next available appointment was in November. I applied for a new permit in Wallowa County and got it. Keep in mind that you can not renew your permit in a different county you have to start all over again.

Also Columbia county comes up to Pierce county gun shows twice a year. Next one should be WAC in Puyallup around September time frame.

That would work, how do they announce these events ahead of time so I know which WAC event I would show up at exactly?

Also FYI to anyone else, I just called Grant county and they no longer accept non-resident CHLs apparently. I was told renewing was not an option anymore and I would need to find a different county... so that answers that...
