FBI alert: Middle Eastern men intimidating military families in Colorado, Wyoming
The FBI has issued an alert to all law enforcement agencies in Colorado and Wyoming, warning them to be on the lookout for suspicious Middle Eastern men that have been approaching U.S. military families.

Tell ya what I think is suspicious: the FBI alert.

C'mon. Does the FBI think we're all dolts? Lets take a look at a few points.

First, be on the look out for suspicious Middle Eastern men. What!?! What exactly is a "suspicious" man? Some brown guy with a beard and thick eye-brows? Give me a break!

Notice the deliciously worded report. One specific family is mentioned. Then it goes vague about "numerous" of incidents earlier this year. Oh, yeah? How many is numerous? Four? Twenty? 375? And, if there were already numerous reports earlier this year, why wait 'til now?

Also, notice the attempt to ratchet up the hysteria by vaguely tying it to the recruiting office killings.

And, here's where they really insult our intelligence. The brown guys are said to be trying to obtain personal information through intimidation. Yet, the latest incident gives no hint of the "personal" information sought. And, worse, somehow across all the "numerous" incidents earlier this year, it never dawned on the FBI that if the reported bad guys knew enough to go to somebody's home, the brown guys must already have personal information about the family.

Something's up here. Vague reports of danger. Internal inconsistencies. From the agency that tried to trick Richard Jewell into a confession, killed Vicky Weaver and then tried to downplay it, harassed Dr. Steven Hatfill until he sued their pants off and won a settlement, helped incinerate how many women and children at Waco? Yeah, right. Paragons of veracity and credibility they are.

I'll make you an offer: I will argue and fight for all of your rights, if you will do the same for me. That is the only way freedom can work. We have to respect all rights, all the time--and strive to win the rights of the other guy as much as for ourselves.

If I am equal to another, how can I legitimately govern him without his express individual consent?

There is no human being on earth I hate so much I would actually vote to inflict government upon him.
