There are now more than 850,000 firearms in private hands in Australia's most populous state.

And Greens MP David Shoebridge says he's so alarmed by the increase that he will introduce legislation to limit the number of firearms that people can register.

Australia comes with a built-in "Outback" and actual dingos. Duct tape needed only until you can get The Honourable Mr. Shoebridge out there.

Then let's see how he feels about just one more gun.

*shakes head and sighs* Why, oh why, do so many people actually believe that there is, or ever can be, such a thing as a "reasonable" or "common-sense" human rights violation?

We frequently use "Duct Tape Alert" to mean that on should protect their head from exploding when reading the tripe and misinformation being spewed.

A duct tape alert is more serious than a beverage warning.....which will only cost you a keyboard if ignored. :eek:
