Pathetic 'advice' from VCU.

Man charged with firing gun near VCU this morning
VCU Police Department arrested Felix C. Thompson Jr., 18, of Henrico.

Thompson was charged with one count of brandishing a firearm and one count of willful discharge of a firearm in public.

Police have increased patrols in the area this morning.

Tomorrow is the first day of classes for VCU.

Oh joy, the students are back - there goes the neighborhood.

It's not the serious student(s), but the element they attract that creates the havoc.

Don't forget to walk in pairs, especially at night - makes it easier for the BGs to score. :uhoh:

You know one of the things VCU did for enhanced security is put cameras everywhere. Smile, you're on candid camera.

Don't you mean for enhanced security theater?

Now they can track you going to the 7-11, but still can't protect you from crime. Yellow tape and chalk may get there sooner though.

Wonder if they employ facial recognition technology.
