I would LOVE to see the bank security camera footage of this. Thug walks in, robs bank. Autoworker pulls his own gun, fire three shots, scores three hits. Thug lays screaming and bleeding on the sidewalk till the cops arrive. That bluecollar man needs a white hat.

Mayor Fouts said while he would rather his city have no crime at all, he was happy to hear no one else was hurt in the incident. He said the initial evidence indicates the autoworker was acting in self defense.

“I don’t encourage citizens to use guns, but in this case, the robber was pointing his gun at the customer’s face and he responded,” Fouts said. “It appears he was acting within his Second Amendment rights.”

Mr. Fouts, that guy just saved your city a lot of money and man hours by stopping a criminal in his tracks so your cops don't have to chase them down. So shut your trap, unless you're going to thank him.

He could have just shot him in the arm or leg ....

Oh, wait! He did!!

I'm thinking it was not intentional but keeping your shots grouped within one minute of bad guy, even on the edges, is good enough. Heck, it beats the shooting of the average cop.:D

Geezers rule!!!!!!!!!!!

stay safe.

'Pointed the gun at the customers face several times'

'Customer said he was in fear for his life'

From the 3rd link:
"But so far it appears that the customer will not face any charges.
“This citizen did have a 2nd Amendment right,” Fouts said. He added, “He must have been a pretty good shot.”

3rd link has picture of perp holding up his bloody handcuffed arm so paramedic can look at it [emoji27]

SO long as he doesn't have "cheese fits", if your referencing the movie I think you are, ultimately this is awesome, but i'm sure most lamestream outlets won't cover this, or will spin it into something that should be viewed as bad and evil, cause , well just cause he wasn't being a good victim and the bad guy has rights too, you know the typical crap lines.

by the way, i love the mayors lamebrain response "“I don’t encourage citizens to use guns, but in this case, the robber was pointing his gun at the customer’s face and he responded"

really? you don't encourage them to take control of their own safety and security?

MEANWHILE down the street in Detroit : " The Detroit police chief has called on the law-abiding people of his community to arm themselves.

Now, James Craig says his city has seen a drop in crime of 12%, as Detroit moves lower on the list of America's deadliest cities."
Sounds like somebody sees the light.........

I haven't seen any mainstream media coverage of this yet. Probably having a hard time spinning it into something negative. They usually tend to avoid the clearly good ones like this.

Retarded Mayor said:
I don’t encourage citizens to use guns
This quote from the Mayor demands an explanation. It should be as inflammatory as some racist comment would be.

+1

Great outcome. Improved shot placement would have made it better.

Folks are always whining about how come <somebody> didn't just shoot the BG in the arm or the leg. GG does precisely and exactly that.*

And now somebody comes along whining about shot placement.

:uhoh:

[/sarcasm]

stay safe.

* - Stop the threat. That's all you are supposed to do.

You're right. I was going on the assumption he was aiming CM. He may be the best shot around.

Anyway people who watch Lucas McCain shoot the guns out of people's hands and think real life is like that should choose to make the world a better place and refrain from breeding.
