    "It ain't over `till it's over." R.I.P. Yogi Berra

A sad day for the world of sports in general and baseball in particular. The infamous Yogi Berra has passed away at 90.

    Some great Yogi quotes

Say what you want about his quotes, but you cant argue with 10 World Series titles. A great man from the Greatest Generation.
Guard with jealous attention the public liberty.
Suspect everyone who approaches that jewel.
Unfortunately, nothing will preserve it but downright force.
Whenever you give up that force, you are inevitably ruined.
-Patrick Henry, Virginia Ratification Convention, June 5, 1788

So Yogi will get the last surprise.

(On being asked where he wants to be buried he told his wife "Surprise me.")

Until I looked it up I did not know he was a squid and a gunner's mate at D-Day. (Both of which could explain everything he said after returning to baseball after the war.)

    stay safe.

Because stupidity isn't a race, and everybody can win.

I have lived my entire life under the "Yogi-ism" of........

"If you come to a fork in the Road, take it!"

"Firearms stand next in importance to the Constitution itself. They are the people's liberty teeth (and) keystone... the rifle and the pistol are equally indispensable... more than 99% of them by their silence indicate that they are in safe and sane hands. The very atmosphere of firearms everywhere restrains evil interference .When firearms go, all goes, we need them every hour." -- George Washington
