    Defenseless Prosecutors

Just when you thought things in NY couldn't get any more stupid...

    THIS

    HAPPENS

    THERE

Scroll down to the very bottom on that last link.

I can't think of a more idiotic move than to disarm one of the higher value targets for criminals. Whats next? Banning judges from owning guns? Hey, here's a great idea Long Island! Ban the COPS from having guns. Then the city will be perfectly safe. No more young criminals shot by those stormtrooper style police.

Anyone with a law degree I would think has the smarts and cred to find another job quite quickly. To be subjected to a megalomaniac boss that wants you to prosecute bad guys and then advertise that you can not posses any form of defensive tool is insanity. I surly hope the boss is taking her own advice and doesn't own any way to defend herself should the grim reaper knock on her door. Some how I highly doubt that is truly the case. Do as I say, not as I do. For thee, not for me. There are no words to adequately describe this action. I suppose Forrest Gump said it best, Stoopid is as stoopid does. (yes, I spelled it wrong intentionally)

Practically speaking a very bad one IMO as they are not allowed to provide for their own personal defense.

I guess those elitists should have fought more for the rights of the common man.

Interim DA should have also required ADAs to put a GFZ sign in their front yard too.

Just remember, there are dangerous people out there and some of them wear badges and some are prosecutors.

    A disarmed government?

    GREAT IDEA!

Seriously. Let them truly face the potential consequences of their actions, bare butt naked.

You mean they should feel like the public servants they are?

Perhaps we should be...although not as a special/more elite class, but as in all people should have the right/ability to defend themselves.

That and you know that any such harm/attack on a DA is going to be laid at the feet of gun owners collectively.

I agree. It's an inalienable Right. So that including convicted felons and those with past DV conviction.

Until we have freedom, there's ample reasons to ensure those in power face the 'potential' of RAW consequences for their actions.

IIRC, before the American revolution really started, some government officials ended up being cleansed by fire, or used as tree decorations. Tar and feathers might have been employed too.

El Paso family friend was an ADA - she prosecuted child molesters - always carried her 38. Dealt with sorry sacks of 'shinola' - finally retired after dealing with it for as long as she could.
