study participants were geriatrics ~ adults aged 50 and over were tracked for more than two years...quote: Among those aged 70 and over, .contact with children and other family members had the greatest impact. unquote. quote: MI nationally representative study of 11K unquote...(http://www.today.com/health/face-face-interaction-may-be-vitamin-depression-study-suggests-t48101)

really, MI is known to suck for causing blah-ness from cabin fever aka seasonal affect disorder... this is a surprise

misleading story made even more so by showing the young adults in the article's fotos...

If I make it to 70, the last thing I will want to do is socialize with folks my age, too old and set in their way...depressing.

Socialize with younger folks, too young and not respecting that I am now set in my ways...depressing.

The most rewarding conversations that I have are conversations with myself...not depressing.
