I've been a member here since 2007 also. It was disappointing to see OC in Texas get shot down so many times, plus our legislator only hooks up once every two years! You've just got to keep fighting, keep persisting, and never give up!!! I believe sentiment has changed. Oklahoma, then Texas, passed OC (albeit licensed). I truly believe Florida will be next. We had all the same naysayers (police associations, etc.) here too. We had the same anti-OC arguments from all the same people.

Just keep fighting. Do not rest.
