The next time mcbeth (or more recently rightwinglibertarian) goes on "vacation", note their member status - hence my use of the word banned in quotes.

Being "banned"on OCDO is not unlike a woman's permenant - really only temporary unless the flow of oxygen is reduced to zero or less.

Those who have collected a history of such should take particular heed.

Right wing is absolutely correct. It was a violent, dangerous assault and kidnapping at gun point for harmless and rightful actions. His solution is problematic/childish because not enough people believe the same. Taking his course of action would result in the media labeling you an insane whack job. If you didn't get executed by other cops, you would have a far worse fate: being judged by a group of slavish, brainwashed "peers" who would sentence you to rot in jail for 10 years before being executed in a medical fashion. If enough people actually believed in liberty, the assault would never have happened in the first place (most likely) because OC would be legal.

I don't "need" to openly carry a handgun or own an "assault weapon" any more than Rosa Parks needed a seat on the bus.

In your opinion will they say there is no right to carry or that there is a right but it's the licensed privilege to pay and carry concealed? I think they'll say the latter.

Bump for proximity alert. Show trial is Wednesday at 0900. It will be broadcast live, will find out and post link later. I like to think of it as video evidence for a Declaration of Independence yet to come. And tar and feathers. It won't happen, but it's a fun thought lol.

The Kangaroo Kourt's laborious word salad at 9... On the 8th.

Keep in mind as you watch it, that a Right and a Privilege are not the same thing. They will lie and say that it is. And give you a headache listening the the bullsh!t word play they use to justify it.

I feel badly for Eric Friday and Fl carry. They feel that because their argument is sound that it will matter. The truth is no defense.

However, it may not be all bad. If Florida starts nose diving and Democrat scum take over, this opinion may keep "shall issue" intact a la Connecticut. I'll be gone if that happens though lol

We have seen that the truth does not matter to liberals, progressives, socialists and communists pushing their agenda is what is important to them.

We'll have to wait until Fall or winter for the word salad and obfuscation. I honestly wonder if they even are capable of distinguishing between rights and privileges. That is to say, do they even have categories for activities that we are free to do without official permission?

Essentially almost all government agents who wear the black dresses are part of the hive mind, like the Borg in Star Trek.

Can I safely assume that this will be on the Florida Channel TV that we've all watched previous proceedings on?

Eh, I don't think they are fools. The word salad will be the perfect thing to rip apart and prove that a legislative move is needed. Add to it the abuses from the Cops, who are also judicial branch... It'll be impossible to avoid that there is implicit collusion and malicious intent. Or course, no legal action taken upon it, but at least we'll all see it. This lawsuit is merely to assure that the emperor disposes of his every last article of clothing.

The emperor will have no clothes, but, unfortunately, the emperor is so flagrant and emboldened, that once naked, he'll dance a hairy, bouncing, wrinkly jig just to let us know that he can get away with anything...

You put a lot of work into something and you tend to look at it with rose colored glasses; they felt pretty confident about the 4th DCA decision. The kourt ended up quoting my posts here essentially.

General OC may never happen but they may be able to push a strict scrutiny bill through if this opinion is bad enough to make some pols wince.

Specifically the state needs to be sued for the "prohibited places" list. Not sure how the right can be utterly cancelled in places where there are not screening procedures for weapons plus armed security. Shouldn't pass rational basis for permit holders.

I didn't read them, so I don't have an opinion on that, but quite a few of their questions were idiotic - and showed little grasp of the subject at hand.

I would like to share this movie quote as it seems quite apropos regarding numerous comments, questions and statements posed by SC Justices Barbara J. Pariente, Peggy A. Quince and Jorge Labarga.

You and your feelings. They just run you, don't they?
