The top link is an Austrian news channel. You'll have to translate it, and the Google program sucks. So, the highlights as I think I've figured them out...

The nation is running out of shotguns, and pistol courses that were once held every five weeks, now are held every week. Mostly women buying the firearms and taking the classes.

From the Fox article...

Austria has about 8.5 million people, with around 900k firearms in households. Sales are up by about 70k from the same time last year.

An upswing in firearm interest not just here in the US but globally it seems.
