DPD has railroaded yet another black male unlicensed ocer.

This time with a ccw charge for hgoc on his own property, creating a remarkable double impossibility of him being guilty.

I don't want to go into more detail at this time while he sorts out his legal strategy, but yes, it is as asinine and outrageous as it sounds.

We are doing a protest on Sunday for him and the other 4 black men we know of that they have railroaded with bogus felony charges in the recent past. PM me for more info if you're interested in attending.

It is time that this out of control agency with its fake pro gun chief get held accountable for their actions.

The complete and utter truth can be challenged from every direction and it will always hold up. Accordingly there are few greater displays of illegitimacy than to attempt to impede free thought and communication.

When you're able/willing to do so, I for one am interested in the details.

Today went well. We are planning on many more protests. Probably every two weeks.

The saving grace for Woody’s arrest was the 13-second cell phone video he captured at that time, which completely destroyed the false tale that the three arresting officers (including Officer Holloway) told to Woody’s jury in January of this year. The jury deliberated Woody’s not guilty for only five minutes once they had the video in front of them; the fact that Woody was open carrying and the officers lied was even clear to the presiding judge.

Good thing those cops are now in prison after felony perjury convictions, where they can't deprive innocent citizens of years of their lives...

...wait, what? They were never even criminally charged with ANYTHING?

I used to think the penalty for fabrication of evidence or perjury by an agent of the state should be punished by the maximum sentence their victim could have gotten if the frame-up went undetected as it normally does.

Now I think that if we make cop-killing a greater punishment than grandmother killing, the flip side of that is we should punish frame-ups the same as we punish cop-killings. And yes, I'm talking life in prison for falsifying a traffic ticket if the criminal intent can be proven beyond all reasonable doubt.

And I'm not just talking about cops, in fact persecuting attorneys suppressing exculpatory evidence scare me even more than lying cops. I'm all for mandatory life sentences for persecutors who try to railroad innocents.

This is one of the problems I have with the NRA, they support this bung hole chief of police. Maybe it is his anti OC agenda they find favorable.

Keeping the arrest over his head would seem to be the issue is with the Wayne County DA - either for not prosecuting or dropping the charges; in addition to the racist/corrupt cops and anti-gun management for malicious and false arrests.

Sue the city until it can no longer afford to direct deposit the cops' wages, and the problem will go away all by itself.

The city is already about as broke as it gets.

The fundamental reason why the thin blue line won't take out its trash is collectivism. The field doesn't want and doesn't attract individualists. Better to have people who will sell their morals out to a group for a cause, and people like that are hard pressed to trim the trash from their ranks.

It leaves us with little recourse beyond making such a stink that it becomes their ideal solution to cease their actions to encourage us to find other things to do instead.

Which is why I am curious to find out at what point they:

    A) Cease or delay pension payments

    B) Can't make their monthly payroll.

Unfortunately, the state would just bail them out and stick them with an emergency manager again.

I guess, since the city is broke, the DuhPD are not too concerned with the potential of pending lawsuits?

    Time to either:

    1. Quit illegally declaring 'qualified immunity' when the actions in question were clearly deliberately unlawful.

    or

    2. Replace qualified immunity for cops with joint and several liability.

Either one would have dirty cops retiring or resigning in droves, which is a feature, not a flaw.

The police pensions are supported by the police pension fund. That fund will not cut pension payments to retirees, but the municipal workers took about a 30% haircut.

    From a Feb15 Bloomberg article:
'Under the city's plan, the pensions of police and firefighters are not being cut, but their annual 2.25 percent cost-of-living adjustment is reduced to about 1 percent.'

    http://www.usatoday.com/story/news/n...sions/7728569/

By increasing the pension plan's expected return to 6.75% - the city can underfund the police pension plan going forward - kicking the can down the road. Article doesn't say how many hundred million$ pension plan is underfunded.

There are Detroit cops that clearly support victims suing the city saying it is the ONLY way to get their attention.
We talk and they say this clearly. So yes SUE the City.

Lawsuits aren't a bad idea, but the funds are hard to come by, and good results are even scarcer.
