Gun TV: home shopping channel

"A new home shopping channel will launch in the US early in 2016. It will be called, simply, Gun TV.

TV home shopping is synonymous with flashy jewelry, home décor and bargain accessories you never knew you needed. But Gun TV’s specialty will be exactly that: guns. It will also sell ammunition, accessories such as concealed-carry holsters and clothing, such as hunting jackets.

Like established channels such as QVC and Home Shopping Network, Gun TV will feature personable experts explaining and demonstrating the channel’s wares. If viewers see a weapon at a price they like, they can just click online, or pick up the phone and dial a toll-free number."

"Unknown is whether GunTV’s planned Jan. 20 launch, which initially will run as a six-hour segment each day beginning at 1 a.m., will stimulate a new market for firearms sales or chip into business at gun stores."

"GunTV creators Doug Bornstein and Valerie Castle have worked for and with other home shopping networks. The channel’s tentative plans include expanding to a 24/7, round-the-clock format within a year, according to GunTV’s website. A spokeswoman for the channel declined to make the founders available for an interview, but Ms. Castle has outlined the goals of the venture in previous interviews."

The owners might offer OCDO ad space, as shopping TV is right up users' alley.
Think that might conflict with the natural extension of Forum Rule 10.

(10) WE DO NOT ALLOW "FOR SALE/TRADE" OR RAFFLE ADS: We use Google Ads to help cover the expenses of the forum and their rules specifically disallow the sale of firearms, ammo and accessories (including the raffle of such).

I tried to get more info about them on their website. Zero info, all you can do is give your email and name. Went to their facebook, same thing. They fail to meet my terms of service.

Hey, I wonder how that new court decisions regarding sales of handguns and rifles will effect TV sales....it likely would create some businesses in those affected areas to sell to out of staters?
