MSNBC Poll: Should folks be allowed to carry guns

If you think like a Statist, act like one, or back some, you've given up on freedom and have gone over to the dark side.
The easiest ex. but probably the most difficult to grasp for gun owners is that fool permission slip so many of you have, especially if you show it off with pride. You should recognize it as an embarrassment, an infringement, a travesty and an affront to a free person.

When it hits 93% , it becomes law of the land !

    Popularity is irrelevant.

    "Allowed" by whom?
I will not knowingly initiate force. I am a self owner.

Let the record show that I did not consent to be governed. I did not consent to any constitution. I did not consent to any president. I did not consent to any law except the natural law of "mala en se." I did not consent to the police. Nor any tax. Nor any prohibition of anything. Nor any regulation or licensing of any kind.

Since the vast majority of those who correctly voted "yes" actually carry for "self-defense," this was an epic fail on the part of MSNBC to split our vote.

I don't carry BECAUSE it's a right to do so, but that is the correct answer to the poll question.

Bingo. I will not support MSNBC with even one click.

Though, it seems that MSNBC on the webz has far more "viewers" than their cable channel broadcast counterpart.

That poll did not go well for MSNBC, you would think they would have learned their lesson by now.

The comments section is full of the typical idiocy displayed at people who lack any normal thought process.

    The usual anti-gun points:
    1. We regulate cars, why not guns/gun owners?
    2. We have a militia, it's the National Guard.
    3. "Well-regulated militia" is to be regulated by the gov't.
    4. What are "arms"?
    5. People had muskets back then.
    6. Getting tripped up on words like "allow" and "permission" instead of understanding what a "right" is.

Or should have said, they think on emotions, not facts.

2A guarantees it? How about no? It just reinforces that it is a God given right.

Gotta hand it to MSNBC for the perseverance. When one poll produces results they don't like, they throw out another. Stupid, yes. But definitely determined.
The First protects the Second, and the Second protects the First. Together, they protect the rest of our Bill of Rights and our United States Constitution, and help We the People protect ourselves in the spirit of our Declaration of Independence.
