The situation escalated when Mr. McLemore and his son, Jacob Edward McLemore, 17, arrived and got into a shootout with the customers.

Yeah, I would agree with that statement ^^^

The state needs to prove that self defense was not there ... impossible to say at this point.

Rumor has it, the insurance company won't pay for the shattered glass in the front door.

find it extremely interesting after a search of FFLs in Mississippi, there is no McLemore Gun Shop listed for Picayune nor anywhere else in the state.

when the entire FFL db is searched for McLemore, two pop up, one in Chico TX (McLemore firearms) and one in Winnsboro LA (McLemore sporting arms inc)

    hummmm...

No, but there IS a Jason McLemore at the Hwy 43 Kwik Stop in Carrierre, just a bit North of Picayune. (And, from reading the article in the OP, the lady called her husband JASON to come talk to the customer. AND the article does say that the place is "near Picaune" (article) and "north of Picayune (caption under the photo). Oh, and I used your link to find that stuff, wasn't hard.

excellent Mixael, i presumed i queried every which way but apparently your 'find' skills are honed to a higher level ~ kudos on the nice job.
now there are all sorts of ATF agents looking into all facets of their business activities.
