Hello All, enjoying the forum very much.
Does anyone know if you need an FFL to sell ammo? Can I sell everything BUT the weapon without an FFL?

Federally, you do not need a FFL to sell ammo.

For state and local laws, seek out information in your state statues and local ordinances.

Pay to play. Ammo Manufacturing FFL is $30.00.

That's for manufacturing ammunition. To sell ammo there is no license requirement.

A license is also required to import ammo.

Not too excited about starting his own business I guess. What info would be needed? Nothing that would really ID if you wanted to hide your ID you can through the creation of various business creation options.

Folks in congress have tried to mandate companies to identify true human owners when creating business entities...not been successful so far. So one can have a business and the person behind the business can be a mystery.
