Rep. Justin Fawson has introduced HB 298, Lawful Commerce in Arms.
This bill provides liability protection to gun manufacturers and dealers for most injuries resulting from guns other than manufacturing defects or gross negligence on the part of the dealer or manufacturer.
In other words, so long as the gun functions as designed, no liability except for gross negligence. This is basically a State level version of the federal law that protects gun dealers and manufacturers from being sued when some criminal uses a gun to commit a crime.
Near as I can tell, it looks like a good bill worthy of support.
It has been assigned to the House Law Enforcement and Criminal Justice Committee.
All experience hath shewn, that mankind are more disposed to suffer, while evils are sufferable, than to right themselves by abolishing the forms to which they are accustomed. Thank heaven we do not permit a few to impose anarchy.

"Communism and Anarchy [are], a necessary complement to one another. "
