Any move entails a lot of technical details and I suspect we will encounter a few issues as the new server goes live. Please be patient with us. It will be worth it! :) Please help by posting all issues here.

I wasn't suggesting it. I was expressly saying it.

Regarding your first sentence, that was not my intent. I wouldn't say the first is a necessary condition to the second. Certainly, I know of no such biblical requirement.

However, I am betting the Architect of the human soul knows that His forgiveness alone cannot possibly release me from my own certainty about the harms I've committed.

I'm afraid you're mistaken. (I say "I'm afraid" in the literal sense, not as a figure of speech - I'm not stating you're wrong, but I think you are, and feel this is an important issue.) I don't believe forgetfulness is a need, I don't believe we need to lose the certainty that we've sinned. We can be at peace despite it. In fact, as a side query, have you considered the issues that could arise if it were possible to forget we're sinners and thus believe that we are not?

You know, I'm starting to suspect we're arguing the same point, just from two different angles.
