Posted on another forum, bringing it here in hopes more AZ voters see it here.

Yesterday (May 4), the Senate defeated SB 1257, the AzCDL-requested bill that would exempt CCW permit holders from being disarmed when entering state and local government controlled property unless everyone entering is screened for weapons.

After voting FOR the passage of SB 1257 during the Senate Third Read vote that moved the bill to the House on March 3, Senators Carlyle Begay, Steve Pierce and Bob Worsley, voted AGAINST the passage of SB 1257 during the Final Read vote. Additionally, Senator Jeff Dial decided to suddenly vanish from the chamber when SB 1257 came up for voting. The result of this sabotage was a tie vote that killed the bill.

We are working to get SB 1257 heard on a “reconsideration” vote but we need your help.

A special letter, addressed to the 4 Senators who caused the defeat of SB 1257 in the Senate Final Read, has been prepared and is waiting for you to send. Click here to send your email to Senators Begay, Dial, Pierce and Worsley and demand they request a reconsideration vote on SB 1257: http://cqrcengage.com/azcdl/app/writ...ementId=202233

They need to hear from everyone. Don’t sit this one out. Send your emails today!

    Thanks!
    Fred

So it is the position of AZ-CDL that the gov't can regulate your gun rights?

    They have, do, and will.

They "position", while not voluntary is assumed.
