Entertaining instructive app, EverDrive by EverQuote insurance.

Elsewhere here on OCDO is tangential mention of teaching driving to Kidz and spouses. I'm a senior driver and have been using this app to verify my driving skills. My score is currently 90.8, dinked as a habitual speeder.

Use it advisedly for its potential impact on privacy.

This app is the backdoor for the insurance companies to start monitoring your driving and charge you accordingly.

No, it is the frontdoor if you will study the technology and economics. My insurance company is not participating in this particular effort, I asked.

I am not convinced that personalized auto insurance may not be a good thing considering the ease with which users here report traffic infractions. My most recent non-consensual interaction with a cop was in 1977 for driving a Porsche near Lake City, SC.

I am leery of becoming over confident due to my recent experience on I-95.

Few years ago I participated in the Progressive snapshot deal. I was thinking it couldn't hurt I drive like a geezer. One day I had lent my pickup to the girlfriend s son ( big mistake) I was able to rectify it but it took some convincing. The savings was not worth the hassle .

Just like that, darn thing could tell hard starts and stops as well. Couldn't blame him, truck was a new Ram with the Hemi. He did return it with more gas than he started with. Lol I used to drive just like him.

This is the 55 mph speed limit portion of the road to Death's Door Passage, the moat behind which I live. To drive it below the speed limit one must have no spirit.
