Gun run shatters June record: FBI records 2.1M background checks

The Washington Free Beacon, which assiduously followed the story over the past year, asked a managing partner at Ammunition Depot about gun sales in June.
“Yes, we have seen a dramatic spike in sales volume (around five times normal levels) especially in the .223/5.56 caliber and to a lesser extent 9mm, .45 ACP, and .308 but the increase is definitely across the board,” Scott Blick told the website on June 23.
The Free Beacon also noted Tuesday that four separate gun-control bills that were voted on in the Senate last month was the strongest legislative effort since 2012.

More on the number of guns sold this year chart at the link.

    http://gunwatch.blogspot.com/2016/07...ecord-gun.html

2016 continues on its record breaking pace to become the year with the most gun sales ever. It is not a squeaker. 2016 pulled ahead out of the gate and has been gaining ground ever since. The 2016 NICS checks are far ahead of those for 2015, the previous record holder.

In 2015, the total NICS checks for the year were 23,141,970 . In 2015, through June, the numbers were 10,466,243. Through July, they were 12,067,075. Through August, 2015, they were 13,812,485. For 2016 through June they are 13,829,491.

2016 is already two months ahead of the 2015 record. It is 32% ahead of where 2015 was at this time. If this pace continues, 2016 will end up with over 30 million background checks for the year.

I did my part and bought a new S&W SD9VE ($272.00 out the door) that I'm really enjoying. Next false flag I'll be looking for another bargain.

I've been a bad American for the first half of the year - only bought 1 new gun so far.

Been spending the budget on ammo instead.

Make sure you have a good rifle and sidearm. Lots of ammo and mags and parts for each. Cleaning kits and all the necessaries. A good shotgun would be good also.

Then a back up rifle and sidearm and such. Then more of each. IF you get too much, PM me and I will come pick up all your excess or pay for shipping to me.
