Can anyone tell me if the Dunhill Hotel in Charlotte is posted? I am considering staying there.

IM0 - it doesn't matter.
While the hotel is private property, it becomes your home/castle when you rent there - so you may OC or CC if you are not lounging in a common area (in violation of their rule) or where alcohol is served.

To and from your room plus in your room - carry as you will.
