    OC - Not Good News

Looks as if Steube doesn't want to go forward with open carry.

The article you linked kind of reads that way, but the writing style is ambiguous, open carry in that article is short hand for sb140, witch is apparently dead.

    Try this article. http://www.tampabay.com/blogs/the-bu...maller/2310731

It reads a bit different, that he is breaking a 140 into many bills, including an open carry bill

    It's not over yet

Another person who won't glance at the front page of the state forum. Request Grapeshot to delete or merge. All components of the bill will be reintroduced separately. However, usually open carry is the heaviest lift so it is likely dead.
“If the natural tendencies of mankind are so bad that it is not safe to permit people to be free, how is it that the tendencies of these organizers are always good? Do not the legislators and their appointed agents also belong to the human race? Or do they believe that they themselves are made of a finer clay than the rest of mankind? ” -Bastiat

I don't "need" to openly carry a handgun or own an "assault weapon" any more than Rosa Parks needed a seat on the bus.
