In the middle of the survey is a purported news article that one is supposed to read to answer questions on it some pages later. I had no idea that I was supposed to read it.

No kidding. Definitely an anti-gun hit piece masquerading as a "scientific" questionnaire. :banghead:

I guess the answers I gave will get my response tossed in the garbage can. Lord, do I ever love being an evil old man!

Y'all do know that any responses that do not agree with their preconceived ideas will be disregarded, don't you? That is the way the progressive socialist mindset operates.

I stopped at the second question that asked how important the issue of gun regulation was to me. There are two ways to take my answer... if I answered... by the person reading my answer...

I could answer that the issue of gun regulation is very important to me because I want to see it go away but the person reading it could interpret my answer as I want more gun regulation because I think that issue is important.

Yet another trap with misleading questions that can be used to support a gun control agenda.

Anti gun garbage data spin gathering.

No masquerade, they plainly identify themselves in the sixth line of the survey. "We reached you through the Coalition to Stop Gun Violence and we would like to ask you a few questions about your membership in this group."

Fetching that line cut and pasted, I noticed that my second set of answers were not refused. Clearly a push poll from the School of Journalism at UW-Madison, the bluest blue-running abscess in Wisconsin.

There's no doubt as to their bias and political leanings but throughout the survey they kept referencing "data" and "numbers", as well as claiming that the survey was a "study" on how people interpret gun-related news (which are also anti-gun rhetoric).

Give it two months or so and the results of this questionnaire will be cited as a "scientific" poll/study.

Their premise is false, and as such any conclusion is false.

Knife attacks on the rise? Where are the calls for regulating knives? Where is the Coalition to Stop Knife Violence?

I did not participate. When there is no implement comparison regarding violent crimes there can be no rational debate. Then again, liberals are not rational...by definition.

A truly disgusting questionnaire. No doubt it will be touted as a definitive and objective sampling despite its leading questions and biased articles injected throughout.

Education has gone downhill.
How important is the issue of gun regulation to you?

I would never put this question on a survey as it's ambiguous.

We reached you through the Coalition to Stop Gun Violence and we would like to ask you a few questions about your membership in this group.

Gee, this isn't selective at all. :banghead:

Firearm-related deaths are higher in countries with strict gun control.
Do I agree or disagree? Well, s**t, Sherlock, there's no solid data to come to that conclusion, so I can't agree. But I know the antis are going to run with "99% of people believe strict gun control reduces firearm-related deaths."

Current Marital Status: "Now Married" No option for Single; "Never Married" is not the same as Single. Doesn't matter if one is divorced or widowed. The only way that's relevant is if they asked follow-ups; "Was your former spouse killed by someone using a gun?"
