• We are now running on a new, and hopefully much-improved, server. In addition we are also on new forum software. Any move entails a lot of technical details and I suspect we will encounter a few issues as the new server goes live. Please be patient with us. It will be worth it! :) Please help by posting all issues here.
  • The forum will be down for about an hour this weekend for maintenance. I apologize for the inconvenience.

I was being sarcastic.....

No, you were being obstinate, quarrelsome and belligerent.

The Metro employees that answer ORR's don't make policy. They don't explain policy. They don't defend or correct mistakes in policy, even if those policies are in violation of the law or the constitution. All they do is to try to find the public record or records that are pertinate to the the request. This is the correct response, because that is the only Metro ordinance that deals with weapons. They can not send you a document concerning open carry, because none exists. This is why the appropriate place of this dispute is the office of the Jefferson County Attorney.
