"A 28-year law enforcement professional who currently is chief of Boynton Beach, a city in Palm Beach County on Florida’s eastern coast, was introduced Tuesday as Chesterfield County’s new police chief. He will begin work Jan. 2.
The selection of Jeffrey S. Katz, 45, who has served as Boynton Beach police chief since September 2013, is the culmination of a monthslong national search of candidates to succeed Col. Thierry G. Dupuis, who retired Sept. 1 after a 40-year law enforcement career.
The Chesterfield Board of Supervisors selected Katz from a list of four finalists narrowed by a recommendation committee of county leaders and assisted by the Springsted Waters search firm."

Hope this transition goes well. Virginia is a very different situation regarding OC of handguns.
