    Story From The Conservative Voice

July 4 is Independence Day. Many across America will celebrate the day that America declared itself a free and sovereign people. People will cook out on the grill, have family get togethers, and just celebrate freedom in general. However, the UN has plans for this day as well - and these plans are not at all celebrating freedom. These plans are sinister in character and threaten our sovereignty as a free nation.

The United Nations has decided to hosts it annual global gun ban conference called the 2006 Small Arms Review Conference or RevCon during the fourth of July holiday period right here on American soil. The UN ad its liberal allies in Canada, Australia and liberals right here in America would like nothing more than to erase the Second Amendment from the constitution and ban all firearms around the world.

This is a real threat to freedom and I encourage you as a free American to voice your opposition to the UN for its anti-American sentiments and its anti-gun stance. There is no way that America will give in to the UN's demands that America disarm its citizens and destroy a vital part of the constitution. Having the Second Amendment ensures that every American is entitled to won a firearm for hunting, sport, collection, self-defense, or for whatever reason there may be to own one.

It is clearly evident that the UN has no respect for American freedom and law and that they blatantly defy us on our Independence day on our own soil. Please take a stand for your rights today, before it's too late!

As long as the United Nations exists, nothing is safe, neither our
sovereignty nor our guns nor our economy. The only solution is to Get US
    Out Of The UN!

Anyone who supports our American way of life, our Constitution, our republican
form of government, needs to urge his/her Representative to cosponsor and
support Rep. Ron Paul's H.R 1146, the "American Sovereignty Restoration Act of
2005". Likewise, we need to urge our Senators to introduce and support a bill
equivalent to H.R. 1146. We should do this by the 4th of July.

The U.N. cannot be reformed. The tyranny and corruption of the despots in charge
are too well entrenched. With the push to take our guns, the oil-for-food
scandal, the attempt to takeover the internet, the granting of seats on the
Human Rights Commission to human rights abusers, the push for a global tax, and
the sexual abuses by the U.N peacekeepers, the only way to clean up the Cesspool
on the East River is to shut it down.

President Bush wants to reform the U.N and make it stronger. That is just
what we need, a stronger organization of socialistic, unelected, unaccountable
bureaucrats backed by the U.S. government. By US getting out of the U.N., it
will lose all of our financial support and implode due to its fiscal
    irresponsibility and ineptitude.

Support H.R. 1146 and Get US Out Of The UN! Then we can work to to put
the nail in the coffin and Get The UN Out Of The US.

I was watching C-Span last night, and caught part of Hans Blix interview regarding the"Weapons of Terror" report to the UN. I don't have the transcript (or a perfect memory), but the basic gist of one portion of his comment was: at one point he made a stab at the NRA by disdainfully pointing out that the NRA believes that a gun is only dangerous in the wrong hands. He went on to equate guns to nuclear or other WMDs, and that theycan bedangerous no matter who has them.

The agenda of the UN is obvious. I know that they don't care about the rights of Americans... But the fact that they have no concept of the disparity of force, or trust for loyal citizens, is disconcerting...

They think that it will be a better world only if everybody does what THEY say.

    One world police-state...

    ...Makes me sick...

The gentleman of the three cornered hat is correct, I believe ,when he suggests that, without American fiscal support, this parcel of rogues will, hopefully, implode! We really need OUT of this sinister organization ASAP.They are an affront to all that we hold dear, and are merely a conduit by which American aid is distributed to less fortunate nations.

It may be our moral duty to help such nations, but it should also be our CHOICE, surely?

I wonder what the procedure is for exiting the UN?

As for leaving the UN, we could just pull the Cartman approach and say "skrew you guys, I'm going home"

Politically naive gun owners and mere hobbyists and hunters are finally waking up to the real goal of these global tyrants. Disarmament. Fortunately the UN would have a huge problem doing it. Most Americans would be appaled by any foreign military type police force on our soil enforcing any law.
America is the last real gun owning country in the world. We are all that is stopping these NWO types so disarming us must be at least a primary goal. Thus they hold their ridiculous conference.
Unfortunately, we will be on our own if comes down to the wire.
On July 4, my buddies and I plan on shooting downloadable UN targets from JPFO:

    and sending them to:

    UN Headquarters
    First Avenue at 46th Street
    New York, NY 10017

    With a polite note:
    Dear Kofi,
You can count on me and my pals to help fight against both domestic and global tyranny!
    Signed, an armed American.

Not to be a threat of course, just politely communicating your committment to freedom and American liberties.

Patriot, Sorry that I inadvertantly caused you to do the "nose-trick" with your milk! This is what comes of reading stuff written by a guy with a "snotty" sense of humour!

Pass me another beer, Ted, when we get over the bridge!

And the story continues. I don't believe they will succeed in taking our guns, but I do believe they would like to.

If you guys are still curious, I found it via the first link on the 6-19 alert "Fight the UN with Facts" page.

Edit: I just figured out, that is actually the alert for May 23.

Yeah, I wonder if the words "from my cold, dead hands" mean anything to them.
