I am working on putting together the opencarry.org apparel we had talked about in a previous thread.

I am thinking that we will have two types of apparel. The first will be Golf shirts, hats etc with just a small logo.

Have a look at the preliminary cafepress store to see what I am talking about.

The other will be t-shirts with expressive messages on them.

I am announcing a contest. I am looking for both Logo's and t-shirt art / messages.

Whomever submits art or ideas that I use will get a free OpenCarry.Org polo (or other item of their choice) once the final designs are available for sale.

Let's see how creative we are! :D

I like the idea of "For The Children", but we would need a picture of someone less "butt ugly" than me.

But seriously, a picture of an attractive, self-assured woman holding a baby while open carrying would be a very powerful message! That bears some consideration.

I could take more ... We might want to offer shirts targeted specifically toward women. Thoughts?

Being a very novicey computer user, Iwill do no more than applaud the artistic efforts of the good gentlemen above. The golf shirts and hats look great, nice discreet logos and slogans,as befits apparel slightly more on the "dressy" side. Maybe the bigger, more obvious messages should go on the T-shirts,and, for what it's worth, I think that Longwatch has a winner here!

. . .And for the back.

If you do decide to use this idea, the words are my own idea, but I do not have the copy right to these pictures, I just took them off of Google.

OK, first I will point out the obvious, um...LW....it's dot Org:D

Too funny, for the heck of it, I went and checked Opencarry.COM, you will never guess who has that domain. ;)

I like everything so far. I really like Longwatch's, "A Civil Right since 1607"

I am software deficient, no entries from me.

Yeah. I need to change the web server so that opencarry.com points to the opencarry.org web site instead of my default web site. :D

I will do it in the morning. Thanks for reminding me.
