Neither of two gets more than 15 months in Va. warehouse case
You may remember this case occuring in Richmond, surplus LEO firearms being stolen from a warehouse and sold.
Story From The Times Dispatch
"U.S. District Judge Richard L. Williams took it easy yesterday on two repentant men who participated in stealing and selling handguns from a state warehouse."
"Williams sentenced Antre R. Worthington, 23, to 15 months in federal prison. He gave Larry M. Logan Jr., 25, a year and one day to serve."
"Authorities say 55 revolvers were stolen. Some of them have been recovered and others have been turning up at crime scenes or police have taken them off criminals and others not permitted to have firearms. Some may still be on the street.
"Yesterday, Logan and Worthington apologized to the court and to their families and said they deeply regretted what they had done."
I wonder how many ended up in New York City? The sentences are amazing to me.
