I OC'ed there the last time I was in Abingdon visiting.

I had no problems. No one even looked twice at me. I didn't see the signs, but then again, I don't look at signs on doors much. Except for the the Pull/Push ones...

You are lucky that you were not asked to leave. The previous manager was completely anti-gun and she refused to listen to any discussion about the matter.

But now, there is a new manager. He is dating the daughter of a close friend of mine and I am going to take them both out to dinner and see what I can do via "back room" diplomacy :)

Yep, I took my son to see "Cars" there a few weeks ago. It is still posted to prevent us law-abiding citizens from carrying. LEOs and criminals can bring them in, though. And apparently also people who are comfortable open-carrying like you, possumboy! -Opie

Tinseltown here in Jacksonville, FL has a "no weapons" sign posted. I never go there, I always hit the AMC one near my house, which doesnt have that posted.
