Valley View Mall has a sign that says, no carrying or displaying of weapons allowed.

Does this include CC? My instructor for CC said that certain doors did not have the sign (sears/other stores have no signs, only main mall intrances) and that walking through other doors allows for CC.

What do you think?

I think that's one of the wackiest things I have heard in awhile. Doesn't matter what door you came in, no carrying means no carrying. However, the most they can do is ask you to leave.

Like VAopencarry said: no guns means no guns. I think what your instructor was referring to is that if you go through a door that is not posted then, theoretically, you have not been informed that the establishment is anti-gun.

If you carry there you would still be trespassing, and if you are asked to leave and don’t then the real trouble could start. I’m not saying that you shouldn’t carry there, but at the same time I’m not saying that you should. That decision is up to you. IANAL :exclaim:
