Is anyone aware of HB 2652? I just found it this morning and it looks to me like that bill will remove the lifetime chp before it even goes into effect. or was that their plan all along? i guess if they can get your $50 every 5 years the don't want to give it up.

what i saw was the language all the way at near the bottom was crossed out. basically if you see what the code says now they have the "until July 1, 2007" and "after July 1, 2007" - it was all crossed out. and the new italicized wording has the old language about only lasting for 5 years. i think there may be some other nuances, but that one stuck out to me.

then again, maybe it was because it was 6 in the morning after up half the night with a 1 month old.....:?

My head hurts...:banghead: Anyway VCDL sees this bill as "HB 2652, Delegate Lingamfelter, re-codifies and consolidates the various Virginia gun laws." And they were neutral on the Bill.
