I'm glad to find this site and read the comments of other forumites.

Hope to contribute a little now and again.

I carried concealed for a few years after being stabbed. I was legal according the the NM laws. Leasee of a liquor lisc authorized to carry for the protection of himself and/or his customers.

I didn't renew my lease for many reasons after 10 years, became inactive but still enjoyed firearms. Currently a Parental Caregive which restricts my range time.

I do take walks with my dog and in my area, its becoming harder and harder to not confront roaming dogs. I carry a revolver or pistol and pepper gas and a waling staff. So far the walking staff, aimed like a rifle has deterred most unleashed dogs.

Glad to be a member of the forum.

I was going to say that in some of the other state forums (that also are Gold Star states)like VA have more regular posts...but then I remembered that NM is a Gold Star state, too, so I don't know why it's so slow here.

Questions asked here will take a while to get answered...seems likefew people read this forum very often.


BTW, dogs sure do know what a big stick is...it's worked well for me...but I also carry anyway.

Welcome to the group. I am fairly new here also. I open carry most anywhere I go. If I can't carry I generally don't go there.

Welcome to the group. I am still enjoying my new found rights here in NM. It sure is much nicer than MD! I enjoy OC'ing my G29 every chance I get.
