Hi Cap Mags Banned after March 1??

An NRA recruiter told me that a licensed dealer in Algood, TN told him that today is the last day you can legally buy high capacity magazines. This is double hearsay to me (triple to you readers), but can anyone confirm or deny this?

Where do people come up with this stuff? Did he give you any reason, legislative or otherwise, why this might be the case?

I just ordered an AR15 two weeks ago and the dealer mentioned nothing about needing to stock up on high cap mags .If this were really true I think we would have heard about it long ago.
