    Closing on a house in AZ in May. Been monitoring this board for a while....first post. Are post offices considered federal buildings wrt restricting CC or OC?

    Yes. I have never seen a post office without the sign prohibitting firearms/dangerous weapons since the Feds passed their law against it. I do know of a Postmaster that told me "I'll never know you are carrying" when I asked him about CCW. That doesn't tell me that he wouldn't turn me in if he actually saw my pistol.

    Hi All

    ...i have seen guys open carry into the Tombstone post office....i guess you could expect that, with the history of this town...lol

    I carry in the post office all the time. If you read the law it says if you can legally carry in the state your in you can carry in the post office. I also carry in Sky Harbor and in the banks. I carry both open and concealed.
