I have noticed that in some areas you can carry open without a permit in an AZ State Park which is great and I do it when hiking but once you come to an area of the Park that is more populated it requires that you have a CWP to carry. My question is once entering the permit area can you keep the weapon in the openor does it have to be concealed? I have not foind anything in the AZ ARS that says either way.

I have never had any trouble being armed in a State Park. Just got back from Dead Horse State Park here in Cottonwood. On one even gave me a glance
