I would take him over Hillary , but I would prefer taking a bullet over being boiled alive as well .

Hoping and praying that Fred Thompson will run .

Bumper sticker for both parties........Run Hillary Run!

Democrats will put it on their rear bumper.

I will have it on my front bumper (F-250 Powerstroke Diesel)

Rudy is a joke. My view is he doesn't stand a chance as the conservative base will not vote for him. I have met lots of Democrats that are way more conservative than Rudy.

Here's a little bit of "truth serum" for you. If you enjoy your freedoms, Giuliani is NOT your candidate.

My take on him is a very simple one, He did a pretty good job of taking care of things after 9-11 but that was it he can have a pretty good life with any young woman he choses to do so with and he maywell be a terrific person but he isn't Presidential Material, and if there was a real Republican Canidate on the ticket, his popularity would wane pretty quick.

Please don't insult the dead socialist anti-Semite's memory by comparing him to Hillary - it just ain't right.
G. Gordon Liddy, or maybe Neal Boortz are the ones who first came out with Hit-lary. Personally I like the Hilderbeast the best.

You want a GOOD republican candidate? It'll be Ron Paul for me if he's on the ticket.
I thought he was running on the Libritarian Ticket

He hasn't said anything about changing parties.

Ron Paul Announces Candidacy for President

WASHINGTON, March 12 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- Congressman Ron Paul
(R- Texas) announced and discussed his candidacy for the Republican
nomination for president of the United States this morning on C-SPAN's
Washington Journal program. Afterwards, paperwork was filed with the
Federal Election Commission.
"The American people now have a real conservative in the race for
president they can support," stated Kent Snyder, chairman of the Ron Paul
2008 committee. He added, "Congressman Paul has a long and consistent
record of a true conservative; a record we are eager to put against any
candidate for the Republican nomination."

To answer the question, no. I am that rarest of all species - a gun-toting socialist.

It's lonely at the meetings... ;-/

Well, he is, sort of, but his party affiliation is GOP. He ran as an LP candidate years ago but put his name on the RP ticket when he ran later. But his philosophy is libertarian.

I hope that does not include the legalization of Drugs!
Weel, he is no fan of the war on drugs, so I guess you're out of luck. As for me, that makes him okay in my book. The fewer reaons for no-knock SWAT raids the better.

The only republican that come close for me is Ron Paul.
Guiliani openly embraces gun control and Romney can't even figure out if he owns a gun (he seems to be taking a page from the Kerry handbook, equating gun owners with hunting).

Giuliani really is a Democrat - just misnamed as a Republican. I am not pleased with either party, and hope that a third party independent conservative could sweep the election. Michael Savage said he is considering running if he continues to get votes on his website urging him to do so. I'm tired of these politicians we keep seeing paraded before us. But I agree, Fred Thompson would make a good candidate - and maybe he can keep law and order in the middle east. ;)
