Appalachian School of Law, 2002: Armed student forces gunman to surrender

On Jan. 16, 2002,a gunman at Virginia's Appalachian School of Law tried to do a rampage similar to this latest one. However, a student with his firearm faced the attacker and forced him to surrender.

Since a man defending himself and a bunch of other people does not meet the expectancy major broadcast corporations have on their mind, they tried to sink the story.
