Virginia Attorney General Bob McDonnell (R) has issued what is essentially a cease and desist letter to New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg (R) warning that effective 1 July 2007 it will be a felony for Bloomberg or his agents to enter Virginia and attempt to conduct further simulated firearms transactions in support of extra-legal investigations or lawsuit shopping scams.[/b]

Ø McDonnell specifically notes that this recent Virginia legislation, signed by Virginia Governor Tim Kaine (D), was initiated by McDonnell in support of the individual rights to keep and bear arms under the Second Amendment.[suP][suP][1][/suP][/suP]
