Gun and Knife Show

So there is a gun show this upcomming weekend, I am seriously considering a 1911 to add to my collection (small collection) maybe something else if the price is right, but looking for 9mm, .40 or .45 (must be semiauto).

Haven't been to a gun show since I was probably 14 or 15 with my dad, anyone know about what to expect to pay, or what a 'good deal' would be for one of these guns? I know the MSRP's on them but was hoping for some advice so I do not get totally jacked while I am there.

Also this is in Crown Point, Indiana from 9-5 and 9-3 respectively on Sat. and Sun.

If anyone would like to attend with me I would enjoy your company, this is supposedly a very large show, you can find it online if you google it.

Anyone with some worthwhile advice would be of great help.
