I'm particularly concerned about the push to share mental health records with the federal government, and the permanency associated with it. Aside from privacy issues, it would make no sense to infringe on one's second-amendment rights when they receive treatment for a mental health condition. As someone in the article stated, that would just discourage people from getting help... which kind of defeats the purpose. I don't know about any of you, but I would rather someone on Prozac buy a gun than someone who isn't taking anti-depressants but needs them.
