I found this clip on Youtube, EHN discussing the recent DC Parker decision, and that "there are a few residents who would like our gun laws to be repealed". The expression on her face when the crowd erupts in cheers to that statement is PRICELESS!!!!

Actually she is much less. Elitist scum, can actually VOTE in the congress. Schumer, Clinton, Kennedy, Moran, and a lot of other elitist scum come to mind when that term is used.

Congress is truly like a sewer. The biggest pieces always float to the top.

She supports every piece of gun control forced on the entire country!

She was a big supporter of the 1994 Clinton Gun Ban.

She's a stupid hypocrite.

Handguns with capacitiesover 12 rounds would still be considered "machine guns" under D.C. law

How can these people be against guns, yet, have armed security?

The argument would most likely be that they need to protect themselves from attackers, whoa!, is that not the same reason we want firearms?

This woman makes me physically ill.

Great clip! She was dumbfounded that the place was full of people that want guns allowed. I wish the "boos" would have been louder, or that everyone would have stood up and walked out after she told them to pipe down. Politicians are SO out of touch. This kind of politician SHOULD be scared that we have the right to carry guns.

More refined hypocrites include Diane Feinstein, who not only would take up all the guns if she could, she has a carry permit! That is, she recognizes full well the importance of self-defense and the defense of her family, she has government and/or other personal protection, and yet she would DENY this same NATURAL, INDIVIDUAL RIGHT for other law-abiding citizens to have and bear firearms. Now THAT is the very definition of a pompous, self-serving hypocrite. These mostly liberal and socialist anti-gun zealots still do not understand the difference between a firearm and a CRIMINAL. They ignore the considerable body of evidence in the 40+ now carry states that although personal ownership of guns is UP, the percentage of violent crimes is DOWN. They are often way down where carry permits or licenses are freely granted after an appropriate background check and are UP where they took away firearms from people who COULD pass a background check and left them in the hands of most who could NOT pass the same background check. What idiots. They STILL don't get it! Moreover, with new legislation about to start on national registration, AGAIN, remember the sequence will likely be:

1. National firearms registration

2. One or two buy-back schemes

3. Confiscation of firearms

4. Destruction of firearms

My suggestion: Try to educate people constructively about firearms, carry laws, the 20,000+ firearms laws in effect and the lack of deterrent for crime by more restrictive gun laws. Second, even in the NRA is on your crap list for the moment, consider giving a few bucks to them or other pro-gun organization of your choice. Carry responsibly and urge others to do the same. As for the criminal elements, you are on your own.

I actually did get up and leave after she said that.

As I walked outside ironicallyI crossed paths withthe current Mayor (Fenty)who was thenCity Counsel member for ward 4. I expressed my disgust to him and naturally he took up for her and itterated his support for the gun ban. He did agree though that what she'd done was very unprofessional.

Later, after becoming mayor, he had a run in with her :cuss:at a news conferrence that was covered by the local news. I thought that to be very amusing:lol:

Eleanor is definitely a piece of work.

Good for you! Someone needed to show they didn't agree with her! I had my wife watch this last night, and her comment was, "wasn't she just trying to have them be quiet so she could talk?" :banghead:I think I have someeducating to do at home! :) She hasn't quite jumped on the gun activist bandwagon with me, yet... She likes guns, just isn't ready to speak up about them.
