I have been member for couple or weeks and lurking and just want to introduce myself. My name is Michael andlive in Fairfax County. Got my CHP today after 48 days. I have open carried a couple of times and got some strange looks, I'm getting used to it. I think I willconceal carry more until I have to go open carry mode by law. I'm a Colt 1911 person with a defender for carry and commander. I hang at Gilbert indoor range.

Best thing about moving to Virginia is you can say, "I got my OC permit in 48 seconds. That's how long is took me to unpack and holster my sidearm.";)

Almost makes me want to move out and move back in again!
