I vote for Burke Lake. It's nice, lots of space and it's not hard to find, being right on Ox Rd.

I just thought we should probably make a list of what we needand list it in the first post and update as people answer up with what they will bring. That way everyone can see the list and roger up forwhat's still needed so we don't end up with 20 bowls of potato salad!

Ditto. I get off at 7:30am, and Arlington is almost two hours away.

Not to mention I think I need the slave cylinder in my clutch replaced...

Oh, and I don't know where any of these places are. Some of the names are familiar, but that's it.
    Why open carry? Because 1911 > 911.

Did I miss the "North Virginia picnic" email? I thought this was an allVirginia event? That would make a place like Bear Creek Lake State Park a more central location.

    Maybe next time....

Well, I'd offer my apartment area, but there's nothing here but the buildings, and I just had someone overstay a welcome they didn't even have... :?

Ahh, great point on the State Park issue, my bad, maybe I should have typed "a place NEAR Bear Creek Lake State Park" my real issue was the location of the area within theCommonwealth... Thanks for the correction...

I think this is going to be more of a NOVA meetup but everybody is welcome of course. I hope we can still do the statewide one.

That is what I would suggest. IF you want I could put in a 911 call and request you by name.:what:

You are very welcome. Any of the places we are discussing can be found on the web, but directions will follow the selection of the location.

Saturday 10:30. I'll put you down for the soda. Thanks!

Also, it might be a good idea to get a head count to help us plan on how much food to buy/bring. PM Longwatch or me with how many will be coming with you and we'll add youto the list. If you want to remain anonymous, just let us know.
