Thanks. I'd love to do IDPA, but I don't know if I could afford to even do IDPA much less the gas/travel expenses as all those are far away. I'ma look into IPSC

Should be a good match. plan on 4 stages, probably 50-60 rounds.

Next Sunday is Cavalier near Ashland, but it may be a smaller match (all of the SO/RO's will be shooting the Blackwater Match).

Last Saturday was Black Creek (Mechanicsville), heard it was good.

Regular IDPA match tomorrow Thursday 25 October at Norfolk County Rifle Range.

We have "Basic" IDPA twice each month, on the first and third Wednesdays.

Basic IDPA means simple courses of fire, fewer targets, no cover garment required, little movement, and (usually) no reloads "on the clock".

In other words, good for new shooters to get their feet wet in IDPA.
